Tokai EB3 bass copy -any good?

anyone know if the Tokai copy of the Gibson EB3 bass is any good?
I want a short scale bass which it is -- I also want two pickups - which it has---
I've tried the Epi EB0 but it only has one pup and the build qulaity was crap
the epi eb3 has everything i want but is in long (normal) scale!
the tokai looks like a good deal for around 290 pounds???
are the pups cack? is the build quality shite??
