So who had or has one of these then?

I got one when I was about nine (I think?) - had a lot of fun with it back then.

Recently found it again whilst looking for something else entirely in my folks' loft. Put some batteries in it and now having a lot of fun with it again!

It's a bit silly, but it's damn good fun as a desk toy, and was actually used by Trio and the Human League amongst others - and one of the 'Rhythms' is featured in Fergie's latest offering - some 25 years after it was released!!

Sometimes wink

Got these two to play with though, so the VL1 tends to get overlooked most of the time smile

Me and a couple of mates got together for the first time in ages the other week at a local folk club.

We did this kind of bizarre tribute to the VL1, playing the demo song to an urban type backing !!

Does the second sentence refer to the HT3000, or a VL-1?

Sorry, I'm easily confused....

I was playing Axel-F on my VL-1 last night (sounds much better on my 'proper' keyboard, but I do like messing with the VL-1). Was enjoying it immensely until I remembered that bloody frog. Then I put it down and read the paper instead.......

I have one sat on the shelf. Doesn't get used much!

Been playing my Yahama Tenori-on this morning.

I wanted one for Christmas, but when my mum heard it she declared it to be rubbish and wouldn't let me have it frown

Made up for it a couple of Christmasses later when I got a Moog biggrin

Showoff!!

We couldn't afford Mooooogs in our house. We used to sit around the one radiator we were allowed to have on, by candlelight 'cos the electric was cut off, singing along to the VL-1 powered by batteries stolen from the 'personal massagers' of my older brother's string of inappropriate girlfriends.

Hard times of old England.......

A HT3000. I don't really know why I bought it, I haven't played it since I got it. Just something I had to do tbh.
