Don't know if anyone here is a fan, but saw him at the Shepherds Bush Empire two nights ago and he is absolutely fantastic live. Well worth going to see if you like him. interacts with the crowd really well and the way he uses the guitar is incredible.

Interesting, I had him down as more of a singer-songwriter if you know what I mean. Will keep my eye open...

I really like the whole vibe he has going on, He has an incredible voice.

Can't beat the ginger dreadlocks either.. hehe


If anyone hasn't heard him yet the should certainly try a YouTube for "Dream Catch Me"

The O/T went to see James Morrison (i think) last year and Newton was the support act. She reckons he was better than the main act.
Might try to catch him next time around.

I hear his version of Spongebob goes down quite well live.

Just posted about this guy in another thread on here, we are going to see him at the Roundhouse in Camden next year, this weeks performance was amazing, he outshone everyone else there (KT Tunstall, James Blunt)
