Any fans on here? Amazing band... I really got into them again early this year when Because Of The Times came out (my album of the year personally).

Unfortunately, around the same time as I was listening to them I was having the best time of my life which has since take a big downturn and I can no longer listen to many of their songs without getting all reflective and upset... very annoying!

Unfortunately haven't managed to catch them on their tour this time around either, has anyone made it to the current arena tour?

cracking little band IMO, their second album (can't remember title at the mo) was a very solid effort, 4 Kicks is a great stompalong track!
IIRC wasn't the band consisted of a set of brothers and cousins?

Is that the Magic Numbers that you're thinking of?

Definately check out the latest album, its a bit different but is pure class!

Also, if you havent got it, check out Wicker Chair EP, was their first release (even before Youth & Young Manhood) and is a really nice song smile

I went to see them in Newcastle last night, Rob. I didn't really know the band very well, but I live about 10 minutes from the arena so I went pretty much on the spur of the moment...

Turns out I recognised loads more tracks than I thought I would! They really got stuck in and belted out some really good stuff. There wasn't much banter between songs - quite often they launched straight into the next track without pausing for breath while everyone else was still cheering and clapping the last one.

A lot of people don't rate the arena in Newcastle, but I think it really suits bands like this. Cracking gig! clap

Anybody got a link to the first song they had off their current album?

Haven't the foggy-est what it was called, just remember it was a cracking song! hehe

Not too kean on the one I've been hearing recently with all the girly squeals though...
