Duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuude. Only just seen this. The Days were flipping brilliant!!!!
I did chuckle when they told 5000 people their myspace address though
I was there Monday night. Great show and, like I say, I REALLY enjoyed your bro's band.
How's he getting on? And, which one is your bro!?

Hi mate, just saw this, glad you liked them! My bro is Tim - the guitarist. They went from that gig down to Portsmouth & played a 90 person venue, a bit of a comedown I did chuckle when they told 5000 people their myspace address though

I was there on Monday too & they had been touring with the Fray for a couple of weeks - apparently that gig was a bit flatter than ooop north.

So how did they land that gig then? I've been playing 90 person gigs for 6 months but not interspersed it with a gig like that!!
Really did think they were good and the sound was superb; bet you were well chuffed?
They signed to Atlantic a while ago & they are just building up a presence now they've finished recording their Album. Their manager is pretty good at sorting stuff for them, they toured with Paulo Nutini a while back & are doing a load of dates with Rooney leading up to xmas too.Really did think they were good and the sound was superb; bet you were well chuffed?
It was a bit of a fluke for my bro, he went to school with the rest of the band but was in another band who were close to being signed but they split up. The record co's were saying that The Days needed a guitarist so they got Tim in & the rest is history so they say. Tim was chuffed with the sound as it was the first time he had gigged his new amp which was made specially for him by hiwatt. Apparently it's got 4 individual preamps, 2 power amps, gain control, vol & master vol & that's it.
It's not so rock & roll when they have to sleep 4 to a room in travel lodge but I'm sure they'll be on to better things.
