Against my better judgment I bought the (or more likely one of the many) Bob Dylan's greatest hits this week, and while some of the songs are OK, and the lyrics pretty inspired, his harmonica playing leaves allot to be desired.

Does Bob have no close friends to tell him that he can't in fact play the thing?

Surely one of them should have said to him..

shout Oi Bob, Mate. Best stop the harmonica playing eh? Or at least get some lessons!

Or is it just me? scratchchin

He can't sing either; doesn't seem to have slowed him down much.

His 'drunken master' singing and playing add very well to his 'hobo blues' style.

What's the problem? The spitty little things aren't meant to cry like '67 Gibsons anyhow!

Al Kooper can't play the organ properly either, while we're putting the boot in. hehe

(I love the rambling, unco-ordinated style of the Blonde on Blonde era stuff.)

I really did think the title of this thread was a euphemism for something else. smile
