... but I went to see Rush last night at the MEN Arena - oh, boy. Superb. The first couple of songs were a bit iffy, but then they got warmed up. "Spirit of Radio", "Witch Hunt", "Subdivisions" - all performed brilliantly; and as for "YYZ" at the end - it's simply not right that anyone can physically play that tune. Even the drum solo was worth it(*) - well-structured, musical, and not too long.






(*) ...speaking as one who considers any solo of more than a minute to be self-indulgent.

Aaah yes, aging rocker indeed.I remember seeing them on the Permanent waves tour and also the Moving pictures tour.

Felt like they went off the boil after that for me then.

Red Barchetta as an excellent song though.
