Would like to see it. I really like Joy Division (and New Order, but not half as much).
The film is directed by Anton Corbijn? who directed a lot of U2 and Depeche Mode videos, so should be good in an arty farty cinematographer kind of way!

Watched it tonight, very close to book. Riley's portrayal of IC was quite brilliant and frightening in parts....A masterpiece and filmed in Nottingham.
(The John Cooper Clarke bit was class)

Went to see it last week, excellent film. I did fear that Samantha Morton may 'overplay' the role of the shy, quiet, Deborah Curtis as she is a much bigger name actor than anyone else in the film but, showing what a fine actor she is, played it perfectly. A very moving film, it will be interesting to see if you get the option of watching it in colour when the DVD comes out as it was filmed in colour (better quality film). The woman who plays Hannik Honore is stunning.
