excellent smile

I was at the Astoria as well, had a great time biggrin particularly enjoyed the re-working of Sphinx Lightning and the way other oldies had new arrangements that allowed Linda to do a bit more, e.g. real flute on Logos instead of Mellotron flute (or sampled Mellotron flute that they previously used in concert as Edgar wont have the old kit on stage any more). I love the sound of the 'tron but good to see a bit of variety in live performance.

Last time I saw them was at the Hammersmith Odeon (as it was) about 15 years ago.

We managed to get seats up at the front of the circle at the Astoria. It was nice to sit and have a drink and listen to the music. I thought Iris was amazing on the drums. They have a DVD out of the show; I keep on meaning to get a copy.

I was probably at that Hammersmith gig as well, or at least 50% chance. Was 1991, they did two nights. Not too inspiring on that occasion, which is why the next time I went to see them was the SBE gig in May 2005, much better.

Iris always looks like she's having fun on percussion yes
