My choice - Live After Death' by Iron Maiden.
A good choice, especially side 4, which I played so much in the days before CD players that the needle ended up skipping across it.I'll add:
Real to Reel - Marillion, has an excellent "Forgotten Sons"
Ricochet, Encore, Pergamon and Logos by Tangerine Dream.
Siren and Ether by Redshift (who no one else will have heard of)

Deep Purple - Made In Japan - simply superb (even though Mr Gillan was never happy with his vocal performance)
UFO - Strangers in the Night
Thin Lizzy - Live and Dangerous (though a lot was redone in the studio afterwards)
Rainbow - On Stage (again a lot of fiddling about afterwards)
Led Zeppelin - BBC Sessions - early stuff great
Led Zeppelin - How The West Was Won - top act at their prime
