Anyone play them?

I've got a Jimmy Moon flat top, which my standard of playing is nowhere near good enough to justify.

With building so many oddball instruments I have a few tunes and party pieces on mandolin family instruments but I'm hardly a serious player.

What about electric mandolin? I've built a couple for other people. Anyone using one in anger?

Don't play the mandolin but I do work next door to Jimmy Moon!

Tricky instrument for recording but when the player is good it can bring real life to a song.
