How has 2007 been for you so far?
Discussion
Just realised how many albums I've bought in the past seven months. Quite a few from my favourite bands, some good, some not so good:
Beck: The Information
Chris Cornell: Carry On
Good Charlotte: Good Morning Revival
Interpol: Our Love To Admire
Linkin Park: Minutes To Midnight
Marilyn Manson: Eat Me, Drink Me
Nine Inch Nails: Year Zero
Perry Farrell's Satellite Party: Ultra Payloaded
Queens Of The Stone Age: Era Vulgaris
Ryan Adams: Easy Tiger
The Smashing Pumpkins: Zeitgeist
Velvet Revolver: Libertad
Overall not a bad selection but I have to say though that with the quality of artists here I would have hoped for better. Besides Nine Inch Nails, Satellite Party & Ryan Adams, I doubt I'll listen to many of them too much. Hopefully the forthcoming Oceansize and Foo Fighters albums will push the average up a bit.

Black Rebels Baby 81 is REALLY growing on me.Apart from that, nothing has really grabbed me this year.It seems the ,arket is flooded with this us emo shite which is just "fm rock2 and deosnt do much for me Im afraid.
Was hopefull of Libertad, but its a slow burner.
New Kings of Leon is good too.
Initial listen of new Manics had promise, but hasnt really kept the interest sadly.
Have to say am excited about the new Hard -fi, as I think they were very under rated last year, quite possibly my album of the year.

Got "The black parade" by my Chemical romance this year, it's one of the best albums I have ever heard.
Oh well there is always 2008 to look forward to I guess.....They seem like a real Marmite band because people either love or hate them and there is not many who sit in between.
They seem to be the central 'emo' punchbag!
