I listened to the local station today, and heard a very nice tune by the Manic Street Preachers, I believe? Of course I missed what most of what the presenter said about it, but he did say Manics feat Avril Lavigne, is that possible?

I'm not sure they've done anything with Avril.

The single before last (I think) was "your love is not enough", which did include Nina Persson.

They have done some gigs together with Avril - but that's all I'm aware of. Of course that's not to say there is something else.

I'm sure a manics fan could confirm.

Manics - a superb band till Richie vanished and they went all commercial and cack. Generation Terrorist and Holy Bible are 2 of the greatest albums of all time, their new stuff is pointless drivel.

I will have to agree with you on this one, although gold against the soul is pretty good as well.

The newish single with a woman sing with James Dean Bradfield is the girl from the Cardigans, not Avril.

They have got too "poppie" in recent years, the albums from Everything Must Go were good but not Manics good. I like the Holy Bible.
