I was 37 last month and I still like my metal, Iron Maiden's last album is fantastic.

I plan to be listening to music loud when they cart me off the the old folk's home...

Currently working my way through the Iron Maiden back catalogue, after becoming addicted to their latest album. Always been a big Led Zep fan, too young to have seen them live but saw Page and plant play wembley a few years back. Also like Rammstein for their pyrotechnics, been to see them about four times I think.

Rubbish, it's the pinnacle of musical ability, along with classical.

Yup.

Currently listening to stuff like:
Carcass
Death
In Flames
Kataklysm
SYL
Deicide

I tend to go through phases. Current phase is pretty heavy

I don't get the age thing either, most of the NWOBM are heading into their 60s these days. And the megagroups (Metallica/Kiss/Aerosmith/ACDC/Iron Maiden) are still 30/40/50s with no signs of slowing or quietening down.

Yep.. Much to the missus annoyance I still listen to Rammstein (actually she was the one who introduced them to me), Napalm Death, WASP, GWAR and Metallica on a regular basis. Although in my old age I have succumbed to the likes of Mozart and Beethoven.

I'm currently listening to

Iron
Aluminium
Magnesium
And alloy, for a great cross-over sound. What genre is it? Nobody knows.

Stricly speaking those are Light Metal, rather than Heavy.
