Am I first with this?

If so, I believe convention insists that I say 'By popular demand'...

So, it's now deep enough into 2026 to be getting announcements about 2027 and I just received the news I hope for most years; Editors are playing Southampton Guildhall in March 2027.

I will be buying a ticket on Friday morning!

I also have this, ended up with a ticket for each night and debating even going to both…

Will likely resell one nearer the time though.

A few coming up this year. Matt Schofield at Ronnie Scott's, then Eric Johnson at some point in May, I think. Keb Mo in June, then Walter Trout in the autumn.

i decided i want to go to a festival this year, only reading the lineups released so far mainly ellicits a mark & lard style whooooooOOOOOOO?

that reference alone gives away my age. i'm looking for headliners i know and like, which is very broad but contains very little from the last 10-15 years and what currently passes as popular does not interest me.

any reccos? can be anywhere in the world but i was hoping for the 'proper' festival experience of camping in a farmers field and a large arena, not staying in a hotel with a confined arena which seems to be the case for most euro festivals.

Rush in Manchester. I bought the best I could afford for the first night and then they released a second date with much closer seats. Ah well. Been a fan since 1980. I just hope they are physically fit enough to complete the tour!

The only gig that I have planned for next year is Rush in Helsinki. No doubt many more will be added, in due course smile

Great to see other likeminded folk in here, on the Rush front!

I had a Springsteen tribute act booked for a couple of weeks ago, but it's now been rescheduled for February 2027.

It was at the aptly named Boiler Room in Guildford and having suffered the heat in there once or twice before, I was seriously considering not going, so the reschedule is actually a bonus!

Posting in the correct thread...

Got my first 2 for next year booked. Oddly both 'final' tours. In Ministry's case, it's the 2nd 'final' tour of theirs I've been to biggrin.

March - Megadeth - NEC
April - Ministry - O2 Victoria Warehouse - Manchester

I've finally booked something!

Supergrass at the O2 Forum in Kentish Town next May. I'm really looking forward to it.

Slam Dunk (North) 2027, late May @ £130 - headliners are crap, but there's a handful of bands that I've not seen before that are playing: Grade 2, Killswitch Engage, Four Year Strong, Knuckle Puck & a few more - plus more to be announced.
