R.I.P Dave Ball - Soft Cell

I've just seen on social media that Dave Ball has sadly passed away, one half of Soft Cell and The Grid.

Sad times, I saw Soft Cell probably 17-18 years ago at Manchester Uni when they got back together and it was a great evening as I recall, back in the early 80's they set the tone for synth pop going forwards.

Really sad about this. Soft Cell were very a big influence to me when I was growing up. I loved the music, the make up and the flamboyance. Tainted Love is one of my most favorite songs ever and it will be on the playlist at my funeral.
