Just seen notice that ELO won't be performing tomorrow!

Gutted as I'd waited a very long time to see them live but hoping the beared man gets well soon.

It's somewhat strange, Jeff's guitar playing is not that essential to ELO's sound, i.e. a session player could be brought in to sight read the tricky riffs and solos, Jeff could still sing.

I thought the same - I'd expect they would have some way to do all the guitar bits if needed, it's not as if there aren't plenty of them on stage in the back. There are comments that suggest he was forgetting words, so maybe that has got worse.

I heard Jeff had to sit down for the last 3 songs, maybe his painkilling medication is making him woozy.

Hope he makes a full recovery, in prole years 77 is auld, in rock star years it's just approaching middle age.
