Good idea, and I will do so once I’ve finished decorating! About 600 here, mostly punk, new wave and 70’s rock.

Here's my collection which is 100% metal, 123 albums in total - the other 80% of my collection are CDs, I started in 2020 with my most favorite albums on vinyl and I've got more flexible over time what I buy on vinyl. Spines are just about readable but here's my discogs anyway

Zoom in the OP's pics - not easy but its possible to read most of the spines, I reckon there's OVER a 1000 Lp's in that one photo!!!!!!!!!!!!!! - duh ! - so give the OP some slack there's some awesome albums in that one PHOTOsmile

OP - WOW what a collection I have maybe half of them in my collection thumbup

I have an obsession with late 80's / early 90's Indie vinyl specifically hard to find and rare items. A few on display below. I only have a couple of 'cubes' where I store my 12" and LPs but it's insane what some of the items go for!

Thanks for showing us ur vinyl, ur 90's display picsmileSome real killer albums there.
Most of the kids who bought music in the 90's only bought CD's so I would think [90's ORIGINAL issues of] all of the albums you showed in the photo are very scarce on vinyl. I have vinyl of most of them and a few other good ‘uns from that decade, my 90's favourites are Demanufacture, Last Decade DC, Temple of the dog, and anything by Kyuss.
OOI I have a great audience filmed VHS video of the Therapy? Cardiff 11/1994 gig which you obviously attended too - Small world huh! [PM me if you want a copy] I've seen several copies of the #'d Muse Showbiz 2x clear vinyl album sell for £500+, I bought my copy the day after I saw them support Feeder at Cardiff Coal exchange[May '99], which was the first time I'd ever heard of them, great band tho' thumbup
Another Band I discovered as a support band were Machine Head supporting Slayer at Newport 11/94 - they played the whole BME album, I believe that was their 1st ever UK gig, it was incredible - all the kids in audience obviously knew of them & their music, and went fking nuts, they were the best support band I've ever seen, again I bought that album the next day, it's a must have killer LP [again I have an audience filmed VHS of that & the Slayer show] - There's nothing to match a good bootleg for sheer warts & all musical intensity.
The White Zombie Astro creep Blue vinyl is impossible to find, the band broke up soon after it’s release and their albums have disappeared into the ether - It's a must have & iconic HM album IMO. The great Pentagram ‘Day of Reckoning’ album has one of HM's greatest brain twisting/morphing riffs, though again the band are virtually unknown in UKfrown
Another band unknown in UK are Warrior Soul that album in ur photo is an enormous show of true HM musical power and magnificence, everyone I’ve told about it, and who’ve heard it think’s so too - How the fk did they elude commercial success – [IMO probably coz the singer was one of the biggest wkers/dheads I’ve ever met]
My copy of Ash's 1977 album cost me all of £3.99 - how times have changed smile The rare double Stereophonics 1st album sells for ~ £500 here in Wales if ur lucky enough to ever find one for sale.
You have a great collection thanks for posting them for all to see thumbup
My only gripe - the Manics album looks naff/ruined with the front cover signed - I hate signed stuff - none of my albums are written on/signed, I'm sure most fans would disagree with me about that tho’ smile

As rene7 mentioned my original thread post photo has about ~1000 album spines visible, most can be read if you zoom[click on PH desktop magnifying icon] – not ideal I agree and if you know a better way of displaying ~1000 vinyl albums [some well used & over 50 years old] – please show us imbeciles how it ought to be donesmile - but now you’ve mastered the art of PH zooming, here’s some more for you to look at from a different racksmile FYI my first attempt at photographing the rack’s is the small inset pic at bottom LH corner – Nah’ - didn’t work for me either !

I have a lot of what you displayed, being singles especially of the 12” variety, they were only available for a short period whilst the single was in the charts, these days specific 12” singles are really hard to find, most dealers hate them - I have maybe ~800 - 80’s & 90’s 12” singles , and ~3000 7” singles which are impossible to display, for certain in years to come desirable 12” will increase in value hugely. I was a dealer in the 90’s - all Nirvana 12” were hard to get then – now they are probably Unobtanium! The Jesus lizard/nirvana single would be my favourite I have the 7” & cds of it but not the 12”smile - always hated the Smith’s so have nothing by them, But saw Morrisey once in Cardiff2/95 & James once in Newport 12/98 & have a 65&90min audience Bootleg Video of the gig’s, bootlegs are another exciting collecting area where it’s possible to own something on a band which NO-ONE else has smile

Good to see Taste's first album on there

Got that (and - believe it or not - a t-shirt of the album cover)
