The idea is you post two songs, one which is quiet but angry, and the other that is loud but angry.

So off the top of my head, a starter for 10

Loud angry - Rage against the machine - Killing in the name of

Quiet angry - Billie Holliday - Strange Fruit

All contributions welcome smile

Interesting idea….

Very hard to see past your loud angry , I’m sure there are more , but I cant think of anything that fits better.

My quiet angry would be Phil Collins I don’t care anymore .

Disturbed's version of "The Sound of Silence" has a pretty good attempt at both.

Must be lots of acoustic examples of quiet angry?

Bob Dylan, Masters of War or Positively 4th Street?

I also thought about something like PIL, Tie Me to the Length of That. Or Religion 1, though to be fair that's just spoken word.

Old blues artists? What about Leadbelly, Where did you Sleep Last Night?

There will be a lot in Vietnam era, protest music.

Loud angry will more than likely come from a rap/rock artist I think …

Surely, quiet angry has to be this old geezer https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8AHCfZTRGiI

For loud angry, well you could forgive this girl for sounding angry, she's from Ukraine https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0RBR7GvNYv0
