That’s probably my favourite ever song, it was the soundtrack to many nights out.

My suggestion is Yeah Yeah Yeahs with Maps

I've just bought the C85, C86 and C87 boxes from ebay. Cherry Red box sets hold their prices well. And here's the original version of Sit Down, much better than the pop version.

Not sure if these are indie, what do you define as indie. But currently my go to bands are

Candlebox - This is my current favourite song. Written about the death (heroin overdose) of the lead singers (candlebox) close friend at the time Andy Wood of Mother love bone.

https://youtu.be/eu3EuWg2qNI?si=4e0a5-vnf7CxzGG4

Matchbox Twenty - particularly there older stuff 1996 Yourself or someone like you. To me Rob Thomas has one of the best male voices ever.

Sister hazel - I particularly like this live acoustic album

Sorry if people don’t class them as indie. They’re bordering Rock perhaps. Still great bands and albums though.

It's a broad old church is Indie!

Anyway, random selection - enjoy a pleasantly nostalgic slice of Johnny Marr type jangly-ness from Alvvays...

It's subjective but I'd say your links are borderline Rock because of the vocal style rather than the music. I like the guitar riffs, would prefer a more quirky vocal. Music critique on a Sunday morning! smile

I have an indie playlist I made on Spotify but it's 15hrs long so I'll spare the full details, but some less mainstream favourites (no idea how to embed video links)

In the meantime - Spacehog

Tourniquet - Headswim

Wide Open Space - Mansun

King of The Kerb - Echobelly

Black and White - The Upper Room

High In the Morning - Astrid

Say Something - Haven

TFI Friday and The Word were always good for indie music, and Jools had his fair share on during the Britpop era.
