Beginners Electronic Drum Kit
Discussion
I have a notion to start learning to play the drums
My father was a talented musician, however neither i or my siblings took it up
I seem to play air drums while listening to music & feel that i need to explore this slightly therefor i want to invest in a set of pads, something that i can connect air pods or some head phones too.
Can anyone point me in the right direction, my father passed a few years back so unfortunately i cant ask him to guide me.
Google has a plethora of options

If you want something to have a trial with, you can get a kit for as little as £230: https://www.gak.co.uk/en/alesis-debut-mesh-electro...
You can get silly and spend thousands. However, if you're just starting out something like the above kit for a couple of hundred would be fine for working out whether it's for you or not - you could even buy something secondhand from someone upgrading etc. Roland and Yamaha are the main players in the electronic drum kit arena when it comes to more serious amateur or pro kit. Roland's vDrums TD-series are a good mid- to high-range option starting from around £400-500+ and going all the way up to £5-6k.
Start with something cheap, if it floats your boat then upgrade and go from there! Might also be worth taking some lessons (even before buying a kit yourself) as it'll get you used to the basics and give you something to build on.
