Bernie Marsden RIP
Discussion
Very sad news... He was such a kind and unassuming guy.
Saw him years back at MK Stables where he performed with his Blues Band.. Was a great evening where local singer/songwriter Jimmy Brewer proudly was his support act...
Thanks Bernie... R.I.P

Went to see him as part of the Bluesfest shows at 02 London (North Greenwich).
As we walked around past the restaurants there he was, sitting right out front on his own and tucking into a hamburger. Nobody else seemed to recognise him but we stopped for a chat and he was most welcoming. Later he was up on stage blasting out some early Whitesnake and many other tunes.
A memorable evening and now yet another unfortunate loss from rock world. But we can still enjoy his music!

There’s a lot of his gear and guitars coming up for sale next week, it must have gone to auction before his passing though.
"Following the extremely sad news of Bernie Marsden’s passing last week, it has been decided that the sale of the Bernie Marsden Collection will be postponed until further notice. Bernie was one of the most loved figures in the guitar community and following discussions with the family we have decided there should be an appropriate period before any event takes place as a mark of respect."Panamax said:
