QOTSA - Mark Lanegan
Discussion
QOTSA - just played a tribute to a Mark Lanegan who passed last year -
I think their greatest live performance on YouTube is Glastonbury 2002 with Mark Lanegan singing ‘A Song For The Dead’..
I recently listened to Mark Lanegan’s Memoir “Sing Backwards and Weep” as an audiobook with Mark reading - it was fascinating but very grim at times - he was a close friend of Kurt Cobain & Layne Staley and he provides a great insight into GeV early Seattle Scene.
Well worth a listen - He clearly blamed himself for not saving Kurt Cobain

He was such a unique artist and he's done some phenomenal collaborations, this one with UNKLE being one of my favorite ever songs.
