As a personal treat I think it’s time to upgrade my piano.

However, I fear I might want something that either doesn’t exist or will cost me a fortune!

So I would like the following:

1. An upright in black gloss
2. Self play feature (keys automated)
3. A silent feature (headphones)
4. A screen showing the sheet (which plays with the keys)
5. Be able to be able to buy sheets online

Am I looking for a unicorn?

You've had a good look at the Roland range? I think you would need a tablet for the score display.

We’ve considered a hybrid to get rid of our old upright. General consensus is to replace with another acoustic piano.

Yes you are. To my knowledge such a thing (exactly as you list) doesn’t exist.

Thanks. How close can I get?

From my research over the past few days, I see a Yamaha Disklavier with a Bluetooth connect to my iPad with the Pianostream app running seems to be close?

Those are acoustic pianos though so you’ll hit a snag with item 3 on your list

Indeed ^^^^

What are you upgrading from OP? What does your current piano not do that you want it to?

If you look at these Yamaha Disklaviers they have a silent feature!

Not quite sure how it works but assume it’s got so way of disabling the hammers from the strings and a built in digitiser?

I didn’t know that. Very clever. In that case you are an iPad away from most of what you are wanting
