I'm not even sure if I remember / heard the lyrics correctly, so forgive me if this doesn't even exist!

I think it's 80's or so.

The band / singer sounds l something like Banarama.

The lyrics went something like;

"he, he, he's a spaaaaceman, from outer space"

The "he, he" might even have been "ooh, ooh" lol.

Thanks!

I did speculate as to a misheard lyric in my OP.

Great track, never heard of it before.
Thankfully sounding nothing like Bananrama to these ears!

Dig out the extended version, its guitar solo is an anthem! (Nile Rodgers)

It's on here along with long versions of all your favourite Chic Organisation stompers.

'Tis indeed a very good track, might even end up on my very diverse spotify playlist. The one with " Lessons " by Rush, and Punjabi MCs " Mundian to bach ke ", in case you were wondering what my definition of diverse is! laugh

Great tune & diversity...
Listening to that familiar tune you'd probably like a bit of Asian Dub Foundation.
