Anyone Doing Trinity Rock & Pop Grades?

Hi all,
Finally bitten the bullet and decided to do grades, when I looked last time I was planning to do the plectrum guitar syllabus, but yesterday bought a couple of the books for R&P Grade 4... just waiting for them to be delivered.
Previously, there appeared to be a bit of theory as part of the exam, and stuff like identifying intervals between notes - I can't see any of this in the R&P syllabus - am I reading a short version of it, or is it just about the performance and technical skills aspect.
Hoping that I might be able to get to grade 8 and the Trinity CME in the next 5 years which means I can escape from working in IT by the time I'm 50!
