For those who are married, what was your first song?

We're getting married in August and struggling to pick a song, so am looking for inspiration. I'm really into rock/metal/punk, and the nu-metal genera is what I grew up with and still listen to most days. Stuff like Slipknot, SOAD right through to Nightwish, Ghost etc. Looking for something a bit alternative that I really like but am struggling.

INXS - Never tear us apart. Still my favourite song.

Good luck in August, 3rd is a special day for us.

Cheers. 2nd for us.

Current favourite is Shinedown - I'll Follow You but am considering Suburban Legends - Beauty and the Beast as its a fun cover. I've tried to find something suitable by Slipknot, Nightwish, NOFX, Linkin Park, Blink 182 amongst others but am struggling.

Killing In The Name by RATM... you can both join in the refrain at the end and it should set the marriage tone nicely.

Anything by lacuna coil take your fancy?

Can't beat NIN for a good song, perhaps avoid anything with swearing.

We've been together 8 years. She already knows I won't do what she tells me.

Not a band I've ever tried, but have been through the Nightwish and Within Temptation back catalogue to find something. Bit too epic however.

Love Corey Taylors voice, so something acoustic by Stone Sour would work, but can't find much.

Decision made, sticking with Shinedown. Thanks for suggestions.
