What bands shouldn't / haven't had tribute bands?

Recent work trip in the States had me noticing a "The Real New Fall" tribute band, not sure if their links were to Brix or if they have sprung up since Mark E died, but they were nothing like the Fall. They only played songs that the Fall did as cover versions and then worse than the Fall's covers (which especially live, could be pretty ropey in the first place). Youtube does have a Nun tribute band to the Fall but I'm meaning a band playing alike the original in appearance style and song.

So it got me thinking, are there any bands that are actually sacrosanct from having a tribute band?

What is the biggest band that doesn't have a tribute band(s)?

(Ignoring for semantics 'The Woolyback Shirtlifters' as in my time with the band I don't think we ever got famous enough to even get a singular fan).

I could pull this off. I am now less than 16% older than Billie Joe and the gap is closing all the time.

We could call it Turquoise Day, because that is almost Green.

I'm not a bad drummer but I've tried playing Police tracks before and I just can't do Copeland the justice he deserves. I can learn to play the song by rote, but it takes me a while to instill a song with the sense of freedom and tight timekeeping (usually, opposites) that he could.

By comparison, just about every other band is easy.

Any band that relies of technical ability can be replicated so I dont see any reason why Rush cnanot be copied, their singer is not particularly a brilliant or unique voice.

There are loads of Rush tribute bands and plenty of them with incredible technical ability, finding one that can truly
replicate the vocal of Geddy Lee is a bit more difficult to find though, there is however one called YYNOT, with a teenage
girl doing the vocal, I don't think I have ever heard anyone with the ability to copy a vocalist so accurately as she does,

The technical “replication” I was referring to is Neil Peart - another nutcase drummer whose talents far exceed my own. I’m sure there are amateur drummers who can do his work justice but he certainly raises the bar.
