i've had his debut album "what just happened" for a while now and it's blinding...going to see him in feb but thought i'd best share this..

acoustic cover of "scarlet" by prog metal band periphery....this guy is one of the best guitar players i've ever heard..his tutorials with each hand operating at different tempos gives me a headache!!

mate, his tutorial videos are fantastic....of all the two handed percussive players like preston reed, ben lapps and jon gomm i think dawes has the best technique...he somehow sounds cleaner and more controlled...special , special talent and his own compositions are outstanding...
