Nice one. Enjoy. Have loved them since the mid eighties. Finally saw them at the o2 a few years ago and well worth the wait

Going again this time round.

one of my favourite childhood albums was some great reward. I nearly wet myself when they released violator. I did wet myself when songs of faith and devotion happened.ultra is one of the best albums ever written and I saw them in Manchester on the singles tour '98.

great band live and recorded

Thanks all - def looking forward to it.

Thanks for link Crackie-listened to a little Hurts before. Sure I read a few years ago that Fletch was talking them up as the next big breakthrough.

Personally I also listen to a Bristol band called Mesh-some brilliant stuff in the same vibe of Depeche Mode.
Worth a listen : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_uKpqnJXGSs

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Js8PpUUYX_s still love this track 20 yrs after first hearing it.

Well what a night that was - exceeded all expectations.

2 hours of brilliant entertainment from Depeche Mode, even the support act (The Jezabels) were pretty good.

Finally got the other half converted toobiggrin

For me the best album was Black celebration I'm amazed that new dress was never released as a single.

The Singles 81-85. I used to listen to this non stop in the car when it first came out. The tape snapped in the end frown

It is awesome! However I think the sentiments on "Black Dress" would not go down with the chattering masses that well especially now!

I saw them at Wembley on the 'Violator' tour.

It is in my top ten of best gigs I have ever attended (Queen at Wembley Stadium is number 1!)

When they sang "Personal Jesus" it simply raised the roof... and a third encore of "Route 66" was something special.

with this reminiscing, I am quite jealous now!

Great show last night. It was the first ever gig for our 7yr old, and he loved it.

Still not a big fan of the O2 as a venue. From where we were (Block 402), the viewing angle to the stage was just stupid..

It was the first time I'd been there myself. We were standing near the front and had the obligatory 6'6" bloke in front holding his video camera up most of the night. They pack a lot of people in there don't they? I wouldn't want to be sitting up at the top; I think I'd get dizzy! I bet your kiddy was awe struck by it all.
