Hmmm, for me it didn't need to be a double. After probably 5 or 6 listens it is just too much and too samey. If you're doing a double it needs more of a concept or journey from start to finish. Their formula seems a bit stuck now.
Agreed , I'm a massive Biffy fan, watched them play 14 times always good but not as good as there early small shows and I could say the same for the music....Don't get me wrong its very good stuff better than a lot of new stuff but they do seem to have found a formula that works as far as commercial success and I don't begrudge them there success but they have lost some of there magic for meMy wife did not like there first two albums which I played to death, Vertigo Of Bliss is in my all time top ten, just brilliant , my wife however really likes the new Biffy stuff it's a bit more easy listening but less intricate and interesting for me, there new album will probably get a couple more plays then sit on the shelf collecting dust, shame

Listening to it now, starting to grow on me and is now my album of choice to play while talking drivel on internet sites..
I'm a relatively recent Biffy fan having seen them suport the Foos at MK bowl couple of years ago, Loved them and the whole crowd/anthems/singing thing that their songs induce.
Saw them again at Download last year and tickets just turned up today for Shefield Arena in March
.
Opposites will not be gathering any dust for some time me thinks !!
