Electric piano keyboard

Not really music as such but where else to post.....

MrsC has been on about having an electric keyboard for a while (well, she actually wants a piano but the only place it could go in the house is where I'm intending to knock a hole in the wall for a recessed wood burner!). Now with the best will in the world, based on usage of previous toys, I'm very much less than convinced that this will do much more than become something else to dust once a week; however, needs must and I don't know what else to get her for Xmas.

She's adamant that it has to be a full size (88 key?) keyboard. So, can anyone point me at the lower end of the market and tell me how much I realistically need to spend for something which will at least work and sound vaguely like a piano on the odd occasion that it gets played?
