Not seen anyone mention this here, so...

Is anyone reading the iguitar 'magazine' ?

Excellent content, nice format, and for me, as good as my 'total guitar' subscription.. especially the video parts that are in the gear reviews.

I'm guessing they will go to 'pay' subscription eventually, as I cant see how they can pay for it ?

Of course, the main downside is I cant read it in the bath... but other than that it rawks

I just subscribed, I don't mind giving it a whirl.

I'm almost afraid to ask as I'm new to this online digital magazine technology, do they have an app to run for this, or something?

you dont actually need to subscribe to see the magazines that are already there

theres already loads of back editions on there, I'm slowly working my way thro them

At the moment it seems to be a 'flash' type webpage affair, so no apps as such, tho they are talking about doing one for the ipad.. I wouldnt be surprised if thats when they start to charge for it...

but in the meantime, plenty to go at

That must surely sound a death-knell for traditional magazines. I've purchased Guitarist magazine for upwards of 20 years, and have regulary saved every issue (for archive!) then thrown them all out after a couple of years. iGuitar has everything (and more) the mainstream mags have, but FOC.
