These Band Agency Websites

Just a quick question, I've been looking for a band/group my wedding and have come across several agency style websites.
Found some good bands off their samples however googling the band name reveals nothing, not even on youtube.
My question is has anyone ever used these type of sites? Just a bit wary!

From personal experience, most of the agencies require that the bands register under a different name, specifically to stop people from googling them and booking direct, which of course does happen.
It is a pain, as my band is registered on about 6 different agency websites, but with 6 different names, and we are at the mercy of whatever promo material or descriptions they use, which is most frustrating.
Some agencies are better than others, and will try and look after you, and some will send any band out regardless of who you actually book, so read the small print.
