Do any of your kids like old tunes

Hell yes! My younger daughter goes off to her room to listen to:-
Tubeway Army - Replicas
Gary Numan - The Pleasure Principle
Siouxsie and The Banshees - ssingles, particularly Slowdive and Melt
The Sisters of Mercy - Dominion
In Between Days - The Cure
She Sells Sanctuary - The Cult
But latterly all has been dispensed with as she worships at the altar of Florence and the Machine.
She's ten next month!

Four and seven year old enjoy Led Zep, Black Sabbaths Iron Man and a few other bits and bobs I have deliberately brainwashed them into.
Aware it may go either way, love different music to their peers/resent old mans music choices, but it's a risk I'm willing to take.
Basically, anything but rap will be acceptable.

There really is no sense of Dad Indoctrination on this thread at all is there?
There always will be to a certain extent, although indoctrination is a bit strong, more 'familiarity'. I think below about 10-12 they don't really start to know what they like anyway.I'm a massive blues fan so my son heard that from an early age. He found Pink Floyd, AC/DC and Budgie himself - (Budgie thru Metalica (who I hate), but he noticed I had Budgie on the computer).
He's quite eclectic himself, he uses Grooveshark and listens to just about anything except 'pop' music. He's introduced me to a few things - Viking Metal for one.
I tend to know what he likes now, so can point him in certain directions and if he likes it, great, if he doesn't, no loss.
My 15 year old son can be found listening to AC/DC, Rainbow, Dio etc when he thinks the parents aren't about. He likes some Beatles and, strangely, has just started listening to Simon & Garfunkel. Think he gets that from his guitar teacher. Otherwise it's Coldplay and other such miserablists.

my son likes Dio Rainbow and Dio Black Sabbath and Heaven and Hell - he introduced me to Heaven and HellMy 3 year old got quite upset earlier this year when I told her that Lemmy might be retired (dead) before she's old enough to go to a Motorhead concert.
She mostly likes what I listen to as I'm the only one that will put music on at home. She likes AC/DC, maiden, coheed and cambria, but isn't too keen on The Cure.
