Watched this last night and admit to being completely blown away.

She appeared clean during the performance and jeez could that Girl sing with great tone,immaculate delivery and searing sensitivity. It really was all about the Music with her as was obvious in her face when talking about her influences.

What a fookin' shame she's gone. Addiction sucks big ones

I've never, ever liked her music. To my ears as a boy who grew up on Maze, EW&F, Stevie, Anita Baker, Bernard Wright, all that gear, it always sounded like pastiche white mans nostalgia soul to me. But my lord, what a voice. Can't argue with her talent.

I wonder how it would have been if she hadn't married that prick waster?

You can't hide your influences. She didn't, she celebrated them with her own unique style. She also wrote the majority of her own material and that made her unequivocally The Real Deal in my eyes.

Her old man's just released a book on her & far from being a cash in, it's had some very good reviews. In it, he describes how her husband said to him, there's no way I'm going to rehab, I like being a junkie. Imagine that for a father. I'd probably be doing twenty years now if I was Mitch WInehouse.

I think she had a rare and very original talent. She stood next to me at a Boy George concert in 2007.

I remember first seeing her on one of the daytime tv shows, thought she was good looking, in a girl next door way.

Hey all,
Such a shame for Winehouse. I was a massive fan of hers, so when the news broke I was gutted.
The Dingles performance was so good, and how we should remember her.

Don't know if anyones seen it but my fave live set of hers was from BBC sessions(03/08/07) .. It is usually on iPlayer but not sure if it is currently available. Definitely worth looking into though, a must for any Amy fan!
