I love the guys who stick their efforts up online. Every now and then you chance across someone really good at their thing.

This isn't me - I wish, but even with a couple of mistakes in there, he's pretty fluid & on the tone. Plus I like the song...a lot.

Show me your musicians. Drums, guitar, Joanna, triangle doesn't matter. Good playing always shines through.

This is me as an amateur drummer a few years back. Really miss playing!

Not the best performance on the whole (guitarist was p*ssed and you can only hear one guitar) but I think it's one of the better ones for me, personally.

Here's a better recorded demo of a slightly simpler (earlier) version of the song.

Yes he's clearly a good guitarist and he's also got a really good sound. But why waste that talent on a bleedin' cover? I sort of think ...OK.. so you can play it ...so what?

Maybe he was slumming it for fun? Anyway he inspired me to have a go. Ps., like that Dan, good stuff.

Why do these people always use so much distortion you can't hear what they're playing?

I think this is an appropriate thread to ask if a certain Malam still stalks this forum with his Vai / Zappa noodlings sonar

Not seen him post for a while.

Cos' not everyone's so foolish to assume they can write good music or songs....
