What is your one (or more) unexpectedly 'good' song?
Be it an artist or genre that isn't you're bag but it really knocks your socks off.

One of mine is No Diggity by Blackstreet.

Totally awesome tune. Though i love funk, groove and soul stuff, new Jack swing is really not my kinda thing, or pretty much any of the r&b stuff I think it spawned.

What's yours?

Sat in the car a few years ago and a song came on the radio, bloody brilliant it was and I listened with baited breath hoping the DJ would tell me what it was.

Imagine my surprise when it turned out to be the worst band in the history of the universe, U2.

Unfortunately, I have now forgotten the title. Proves though, that no matter how much you hate a band, somewhere in a quiet backwater of an obscure album, may be lurking something that appeals.

Preferred Going Home myself - but still one hell of a surprise to actually like something the Osmonds did.

(Seem to remember even the Bay City Rollers did one song I liked - and does anyone remember Love Is Like Oxygen by Sweet? It sounded nothing like them!

'Golden brown' is also one, as the stranglers have done nothing else I like at all. Same with 'Love will tear us apart', Joy division bring me no joy. 'Will you' by Hazel O'Connor, more of a one hit wonder really I guess.
