Ronnie Montrose RIP

Slighty late news but Ronnie Montrose died in March of this year. A superb player, and for those not familiar, his band 'Montrose' featured a certain Sammy Hagar on the Vocals. The first self titled album is well worth a listen. Their Whistle Test performance of 'Bad Motor Scooter' is simply stunning, worth a watch.

He committed suicide after cancer he had battled returned.

Hadn't heard that, very sad indeed. Bought the Montrose album many years ago. Just played Space Station No.5, haven't heard it for a long time.
