... for using royal mail who still stick to that quaint old idea of pushing tickets through that handly slot on my front door.

Although it's not nearly so much fun as the other important tickets I'm waiting on, the umpteen exchanges I've had with an alternative delivery company who, despite having my tickets for a month and me waiting in on two different days with my fkin passport can only tell me smugly what my front door looks like. They won't even let me drive all the way to soddin staples corner to collect them because I don't have the failed delivery slip they failed to deliver.

So remember to check who it is delivering your tix when purchasing.

Given that most venues bar-code-scan tickets anyway so presumably any stolen tickets are worthless is there any need for this?

So who are you having a pop at royal mail or the other delivery company?
You can always ask to pick up the tickets in person at the venue if you'don't want them delivered.
