Separate Music & Musicians Forums?

I was just wondering what everyones thoughts would be on having two separate Music related forums? One to discuss music itself (great songs, albums, solos etc) and one for musician discussions (what guitar should I buy?, look at my new amp etc)
I just feel it would help both types of discussion? No idea how to make it happen or if anyone else is interested, but thought I'd ask the question?

I'd be up for that, but not sure if the amount of musician-type posts would warrant a separate forum. No harm in asking i suppose

yeah,put me down for a ticket! thaty would be quite a good idea and when i push the button and have my own home studio i can peck at all your heads about how you built yours!

then, when i'm all up and running i can torture you all with my newfound exhuberance for youtube!

Great idea, I did think a while ago that it would be good to have, also a section for finding fellow PH musicians to form bands etc.

I think only about 1 in 10 or maybe less of the threads in the Music forum are musician related, so not sure if there would be enough call for it...
