I went watching Chickenfoot last night and was blown away by his energy and just how bloody good his vocal still are.

I was impressed!
I wasn't really sure of what to expect really (I'm not that in touch with todays rock scene, but know of Myke Gray & Matti Alfonzetti from Jagged Edge), so when they started their set it was a bit of surprise.
A nice surprise though, very (heavy rock) blues based - nothing no-one hasn't heard before but they did it extremely well.
Big thumbs up from me.

Sammy is a great bloke, spoke to him in Toronto last year at his book signing, well worth a read, I hope I look as good as that when i'm 64!

They were all awesome on sat night at the Brixton Academy. I cant believe Hagar is 64, his voice and enthusiasm are that of someone at least 10 years younger. Also Satriani is mid 50's but seems mid 40's! Shame Chad was missing but Kenny was a worthy substitute. Hard to see VH coming anywhere close with there new offerings?
