I quite like The Raveonettes - some of their stuff sounds like early Jesus and Mary Chain, with the distorted guitars.

Did you hear their own stuff or their older Metallica covers? I saw them live at the first Download Fest playing their cellos on the main stage, an amazing gig

I'm a big Mary Chain fan and agree with what you say about the Raveonettes - check out Ringo Deathstarr for more Mary Chain and My Bloody Valentine-esque songs.
