I think it is awesome! At first when I saw the guy (presumably your bro) coming down the escalator, I thought - arhh no, not another one of those hipster videos. But things got really interesting at 3:00mins into it with the build up, I really enjoyed it!

As ever with this type of thread, I already had a default reply lined up of "fking crap".

However, I have to say that is superb. Particularly the videography.

It would also seem, with 99% thumbs up out of 40-odd thousand views on YouTube, that they're going places.

Only slight fly in the ointment is that the lip syncing doesn't /quite/ line up - but really liked the video on the whole. Music not really my thing but very nicely done.

Thanks for the feedback guys. The chap with the beard is the frontman, my brother plays guitar and mans the Powerbook.. They do have a more recent music video that was launched in October, but it doesn't have quite the same ring for me though, as my brothers GF directed it, and she is a little more experienced at direction than him (he has virtually none!). This newer one was filmed in Thamesmead, just after the London riots. It was a £6000 budget and a whole boatload of goodwill and favours called in. See what you think, if you have 5 or so mins to kill

Sh*t fella that 2nd video is a bit heavy!!

It staggers me the amount of talent is out there. Yet we get pummelled with the "Commercial" rubish from all angles.

really enjoyed both songs, and really enjoyed the first vid, stunning cinematography and the frontman has one hell of a beard, hopefully they'll do well

I enjoyed the song and the beard, but around 4 minutes I thought he was driving a bit fast and possibly on the wrong side of the road. Apart from that, 9.7/10

Thanks for the comments everyone. There's some more of their material on Youtube, including some live stuff from Reading Festival from this summer. There is talk a future video may feature some beard shaving

I think this is very good - and that the build of the song and video is dynamite.
