Two truly brilliant albums amidst a load of mediocre output...

Music that flatlines, much like some others who shall remain nameless.

I disagree. Listening to them feels like wading through treacle. Seem competent enough but I find them mundane, mediocre and tedious.

Final Straw was their high point. An album that was cohesive, accessible, with great tunes, and that still retained an essence of their earlier style.

They have since descended so far into blandness that I have generally lost interest.

Music that only seems to make any sense if you're in a relationship, and are feeling all idiotic and sentimental.

Had a period earlier in the year when I loved their stuff, then I woke up .....

Must be why I find most of their music bland smile

I enjoyed some of the tracks on Final Straw. But that's it I'm afraid.

For me Snow Patrol never really manage to achieve take-off speed. I actually think the best thing Gary Lightbody has put out is 'The Place We Ran From' by his side project Tired Pony.

A couple of good songs splashed across generally mediocre albums, with horrid production quality.

Could never understand the hype when they first appeared. They were all over the radio for months, and I can honestly say that I can't recall a single track they played.

Music for people who don't care about music. IMO.
