Rediscovering stuff in your collection

We've all been there - you stumble across an old CD or tape in the loft and stick it on - shock, horror, you really enjoy it!

Well, my half hour walk to work in the mornings gives me time to delve into the depths of my iPod, and the last few mornings have brought out some long forgotten stuff.

Exhibit A - The Airborne Toxic Event. Not an album I was massively into when I bought it, but actually really enjoyed a listen to the first half this morning.

Exhibit B - Symposium's One Day At A Time. Love it. Always have. How I let myself forget about it is beyond me. Takes me back to many moons ago, and seeing them live - without doubt one of the very best bands I've seen.

Recently stumbled upon my CD of The Sun Is Often Out by Longpigs. Every track a corker.

I'm having the opposite. Listening to Method Man - Tical and thought this album really hasn't aged as well as some of the other Wu offerings.

I used to put on gigs back at uni, so I have piles of terrible demos I rifle through from time to time. Always good for a laugh.

Just got my first electric guitar, so I thought I'd dig up some old old old Bryan Adams as being easy stuff to play that doesn't work so well on the acoustic.

Forgot how good Reckless is as an album. Apart from the cheesy 'Heaven', pure 80s dross, the rest of it is timeless and would get rave reviews if someone released it now.
