What's the best way to set up a band page on Facebook?

Up until now we've just been using Myspace but, apparently, that's now old hat.

Anyone used Facebook for this purpose before? Would want the functionality to update video and music. If there's an in-built music player then that'd be even better.

i did one a while ago. Cant quite remember how i did it, but it was very easy. Just use the help facility on FB

Go to Create a Page---> Artist, Band or Public Figure---> Choose Category (you get a drop down menu here)--->Select Musician/Band---> Enter in the artist or band name in the “name of page” field and click create page and voila
