Missed most of the Foo's at Brum because of the dire food/drink situation.
That's a shame. I saw them at the London Stadium. drinks were being sold outside and it took so long to get served I bought a double round to avoid queuing again as I didn't want to miss any of their set!
Would never go to that venue again though - it's a nightmare to get to from Surrey.

Cardiff principality stadium for the Foo's was similar story on the drink side. We only got a couple in, as it took so long to get served. Also v expensive. I was surprised at how inefficient the drink service was actually, considering it's not exactly their first rodeo.
If on the lower tier, always go to the cocktail bar. Double stack XL offerings of Mojito, Elderflower Collins or others.WhiskyDisco said:
The War On Drugs at Liverpool on 8th July
Thought I'd missed something, as I didn't know they were on tour. Turns out they're not doing a Scotland gig on this one ![irked](/inc/images/irked.gif)
A great live band; have seen them twice now, the first time being at the Barrowlands, which was special.
Enjoy!

We’re seeing green day tomorrow night in Wembley.
Hope you had the same experience as a chap I chatted with at Brixton Academy once. He'd seen Green Day there the week before and could walk up to the front of the bar all night because the majority of the audience back then were minors!I was surprised, Dookie was very significant in my 20s.

A lot of friends who were in the audience had bought kids though.
We decided to start off at Boxpark for food and drink and then get our seats just before Green Day came on so didnt feel the need to queue up for drinks inside or leave our spots. People near us were getting drinks during the show and they were in and out of the bar quickly with no queues during so I think most people didnt want to miss a moment once they were on.
It was amazing but my first stadium concert and as mentioned up thread by others, the sound quality I thought was really poor and I am glad that next weeks gig is inside in a much smaller venue.
I'm going to try and get tickets through Twickets for Slipknot 25th anniversary. I have a love hate with this band right now, one of my favourite bands but my favourite member was kicked out and has died since (Joey Jordison), It took me a few years to accept this and finally accept his replacement and now they have kicked out Jay and replaced him again.

I watched this liver performance https://youtu.be/NFHcz15pRek?si=fpndjb7mQJk_d1R6 and after listening to their Dugs LIve album I think their live performances are even better than their studio work.
