CCS - Whole Lotta Love

I used to love this as a child and saw this CD in a charity shop with the track as its opening track.
It's nostalgic genius

This reminded me that when I was a kid we had an album of classical versions of rock/pop songs inc Whole Lotta Love.

Took me a while, mostly cos I kept looking at stuff by RPO instead of LSO, but I found it…

Sounds like LZ doing the theme to Kojak…

Can't say it has quite the same effect on me as the CCS version

Were you listening to me Neo, or were you looking at the woman in the red dress?
I've been trying to remember this song for months, I had forgotten it was from the Matrix, thanks for this.

There's a Swedish or Icelandic one that has a very peculiar beat, looks to be looking at a barren landscape where the camera looks to be still yet the scenery is moving.

Epic tune. At an indoor rave many years ago the DJ played that but 'looped' the last section (lager lager lager shouting........) for what must have been 20 minutes and I swear nobody really noticed - well I think that happened hippy
Dicky, sorry I missed your reply, yep, I think we've all done the Larger, Larger thing but not to your extent, Music brings back such good memories.

No, no, no, no, no. Her voice always sounds like it’s murdering whatever tune is underneath, so in this instance, only this will do…

To my shame, I had never heard that version before, I do like it.

She sang it at Glastonbury last year, aged 83 and after recovering from cancer. Didn't have the oomph of this but you have to hand it to her at that age.
