I've got a late 60s JEM wah pedal I was given by a friend years ago. One of those pedals I use for about 5 minutes then remember that I can't get a decent sound out of it and put it away again. paperbag
Worth a fair bit these days.

Big prs fan so delighted when I saw the new s2 custom 24 10th anniversary model in the andertons sale .I have a custom 24 s2 already but the anniversary model is a different ball game .Only 1000 made and unlike the s2 Korean hardware this actually had the usa 85/15 pickups and US electronics (pots etc) and machine heads .
£800 off the rrp and I bought it online at 2pm yesterday and it arrived today at 10am

Thanks...I must have got the spelling wrong as I thought of my mate Jem rather than Gem as per the link. Maybe I should sell it since I never use it.

Happy new PRS day Franki68. I had a look on their sales section, but I seem to be in that odd position that I can't really see anything else I want at the moment. I know I should hand in my guitarist's membership card, but 15 including a bass and an acoustic is really enough I suppose, especially since I tend to only gig with one Strat. paperbag

I’ve always felt that if I had to only have one guitar it would be a strat. Everything else just feels like a fun toy. A Strat is, imho, the do-it-all guitar.

1997 PRS Swamp Ash Special with McCarty hum buckers and Seymour Duncan Vintage rails. I bought it from new, it’s quite an early one, <300 serial number. Excuse the winged tuner OCD nightmare, took it for a setup and came back like thisfrown

Went out fully intending to land a classic bourbon burst LP as my first Gibson… so naturally came back with a 60’s Standard in transfuschia!

I didn’t need it , and with 15 you certainly don’t need anything , it was just too good a price .& popped up after me being surprised by a comparison between the USA pups and the Korean ones .
The other custom 24 will be sold now .

Can't blame you though, looks a nice guitar plus you'll recoup some cost selling your other custom 24. beer

I feel like I've been a bit extravagant over the more recent years (I only had one Strat for 13 years at one point), though most of mine aren't over £500, only one special one bought after I lost my Dad (limited edition red Rickenbacker) is worth a decent amount. I often wonder if I'd be a better player if I'd just stuck with the one Strat all these years though as I got a bit distracted buying/building other ones. I do enjoy playing the different ones from time to time though, so I guess that's justification enough...just that there isn't really anything else I lust after now I guess. Even when I do I seem to go off the idea after a little while...

That's absolutely gorgeous, any chance of more pics of it out the case?

That good old constant, n+1, has struck and a Duesenberg Starplayer TV has somehow joined the fold…

great service from Music Street in Huntingdon who took a load of time to indulge my questions, encouraged my trying out options, and then (very effectively) tweak the instrument to increase immediate playability/enjoyment.
